SPECIAL NEEDS RESOURCE

Purpose of program:

To provide the special needs supports necessary to ensure quality, integrated licensed child care programs within the Manitoulin-Sudbury District Social Services Administration Board’s jurisdiction to maximize every child’s potential for active participation.
To develop and implement individualized program plans for each special needs child; to assist licensed child care centres by providing training, support to staff and parents.

Admission criteria and process:

This program is available to special needs children enrolled in a licensed child care centre within DSSAB’s jurisdiction.
Access to services is through the licensed child care centre.

Location(s):

DSSAB’s jurisdiction in the Sudbury-Manitoulin area.
