CHILD AND FAMILY INTERVENTION

Purpose of program:

To process treatment planning within a multidisciplinary and case management approach. Child and Family Intervention is the core mental health treatment program, comprising the following steps: assessment, treatment planning, clinical interventions and follow-up. The extent of an assessment is in accordance to the type and seriousness of the problems presented. The treatment plan, developed with the client and his family, stipulates measurable goals, expected outcomes, treatment methods, projected length and intensity of treatment. Treatment implementation involves carrying out the series of planned interventions. Treatment methods may include therapy for the child/adolescent and their family or group therapy. Follow-up is also available.
